Detra Panucci is the current reigning Miss Gay North Carolina America and is very proud to hold this esteemed title. Detra's mission is to bring back the style and elegance that the pageant has had in the past.

Detra is based in the Queen City of Charlotte, NC and can be seen working all over the city in venues such as The Scorpio, DIVAS, Chasers, Faces Nightclub and many more hot nightspots.

Detra is also Miss Charlotte Black Gay Pride 2009.
